If I could choose what to take with me to the proverbial desert island, sweet treats would be right up there on my list. One of the reasons I exercise so consistently is so that I have the option to enjoy them with family, when eating out or for spontaneous celebrations. At the same time, I refuse to cook large quantities of desserts, mainly because I end up throwing them out to avoid temptation. One strategy I find useful is to prepare single-serving desserts that satisfy the urge, but without circumventing my nutrition plan. Enjoy these fun, tasty and petitely portioned treats.

The Banana Bread Pudding looks like a 'must make'. Report
Its too bad that when promoting these recipes in the daily spark, someone doesn't take time to verify them. The chocolate cake recipe (first one) is completely inaccurate. The calorie count is about half what is actually is. The result of trying to change cups to tablespoons (1 tbsp is 0.06 cup NOT 0.03 as in the recipe). Report

I wouldn't eat any of these. It's great recipe for staying overweight and unhealthy, and making SP advertisers rich.

What's the matter with a square of 85% dark chocolate and a handful of plain walnuts? Or a small bowl or organic berries? Report

I like to make fruit cobbler using fresh fruit, Splenda, light margarine, and Bran Buds cereal. Mix proportions to your liking and then microwave for a couple of minutes. Satisfies my sweet taste and provides some fiber. Report
I love to take out one homemade frozen cookie dough cookie and bake it along with a meal that's going into the oven. Save's energy and I get one small yummy cookie for dessert. Report
