If you need motivation to walk, get a big ass dog.

Or two. Just be prepared to buy 40# of dog food every 3 weeks. And lots of hot dogs.

I just had to say that I think your fur baby photos are adorable. I read that you lost 22lbs last time on spark. That is EXACTLY what I lost, almost precisely a year ago, left spark and gained it ALL back. I am on my way down again though. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Thanks for posting. Your dog is adorable - I had dogs, now cats, more conducive to being away for a few days when we travel. I am excited about my journey and with the support of people like you, I hope to make my goal around Oct.

My trip to Italy will be much easier if I am not so heavy and log 4 - 5 miles a day - I hear there is lots of walking involved.

Keep up the good work yourself! Thanks for being there!

I am right there with you - I have lost and gained the same 20 or 30 pounds. Always with the excuses - I have work - I have to babysit the grandkids, I have to do laundry, etc etc.

I have about 50 - 60 pounds to lose and hopefully with the help of this great site - sparkpeople, it will be easier. I took early retirement from teaching to move to Maine to help with my mom. So now I have the time and hopefully the energy to finally stick with something.

Keep me posted and I will check in with you to see how you progress - I guess I should take and post a picture to help me motivate myself. Good luck!
