Hi my name is Sue.

I know I said before, "No More Excuses" and I worked my tail off all summer long with no results .... at the end of Augus(2015) I found out I had Endometrial Cancer. This took a huge toll on me mentally and physically. I tried to work through it at first but I had a lot of cramping and I got lazy. After surgery I was told not to exercise until after radiation. I was so tired for such a long time. It took all my effort to go to work and come home correct paper and sleep.

I am here to admit that I am at the heaviest I have ever been ever in my whole life!!! My body has taken a huge hit....my legs are larger and my feet swell up daily. My back hurts so bad I have to take pain meds to make it through the day. I am going to PT to work on the back and my core....but it is a slow process.

I need and must take care of me. No one else is responsible for my decisions and actions but me. I need to take control of my life and do what is right for me. I need to make myself healthy and strong starting today.

Health issues have had a major impact on my eating habits. I eat gluten free, dairy free and restrict myself to certain fruits and vegetables (Hello FODMAP & SCD.)

I have made a firm commitment to eat healthy within the SCD/FODMAP guidelines daily. I am prepared to have the courage to limit sugar from my diet. I will not purchase candy or gluten free cookies at the store, this includes mint lifesavers. I promise to adhere to this framework in order to be healthy.

What does healthy mean to me:
1. I can go to new places without taking meds.
2. I will eat only foods that are healthy for me so I will not have to deal with issues later.
3. I also want to lose 50 pounds and reduce my high blood pressure and maybe even discontinue taking that medicine.

I know that God has given me this challenge and I need to do my best to complete this journey. My reward with be a happy, healthy life with my family.

I am trying my best to eat gluten free, dairy free and citrus free AND exercise daily.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, teacher, friend who likes to read and organize and complete projects.
