Re: your comment on my status update about my neighbors. We live in a condo where the financial status of the building overall isn't great (why? because other people don't pay their assessment fees, so then we can pay for upkeep or even many critical repairs). My wife and I have been the sole people essentially keeping the building clean, sweeping, shoveling, taking garbage to the curb, etc... and the other day we had a heavy, wet snow and I saw that my favorite shovel was gone.
That pissed me off.. then as I'm shoveling a neighbor drives in over the snow into her parking spot, sits there for a while and a few minutes later, her nephew comes running up the drive WITH MY SHOVEL from another apartment all together, to shove her parking space. Then he just leaves the shovel out by the stairs, has a cigarette, calls a friend and leaves. I'll give him the fact that he said "hello" and smiled when he walked by, that's better than most of our neighbors, but c'mon.. either HELP out or put the stuff you took out back where it belongs! I preferred that shovel, but had already gotten another out.. so what, now I"m just going to put your stuff away, too?? UGH. 2867 days ago

No problem. :) My relationship/approach to sweets and junk food is that I never say I can't have a certain food—I just make sure that I balance my calories and nutrients over the course of a day/few days/week/whatever. I can go for either "sensible treats" or REAL junk, depending on my mood/needs.
I have tried black bean brownies before; they are great! I like this recipe though because you can basically make it any flavor you can think of. I haven't had time to tinker with it yet, but I can't wait. 2868 days ago
