I found several quotes I can't take credit for but I really liked. I found them as I was scanning the pages of SP. They are motivating, I think, and as follows:

As far as "This is the only place you go where people congratulate for your loss." I am looking forward to loss. Hopeful that this time will be the time that will be the life changing moment when I will change my life by eating and exercising right, FOREVER.

I am a Christian. I love JESUS, not religion. Religion was man made. I love the WORD of GOD. I believe it to be the infalliable inspired WORD of GOD 2 Tim 3:16.

Alright now, there's a rule, unwritten, well I guess it is written now, "if you read this far you have to friend me." LOL

I am finding my way around SPARKPEOPLE. I find something new every day. What about you?

Fitness Minutes: 3,082

My Goals:
*Health would be my over all goal.
But specific goals would be :
*To be able to get out of a chair without "double clutching" it. If you know what I mean.
*To be able to play with my grandchildren without being winded.
*Just simple things like bend over or kneel down and then be able to get back up.
*To be able to walk up my daughter's hill from her dock to her house with ease.
*Get out of a car gracefully.
*Walk up a set of stairs normally. And without holding on.
*Regain my balance.
*For my family to look on me with pride.

My Program:
*Record my food.
*Record my activity. (First I have to have some activity.)
*Choose some exercises from the "Workout Generator" or the "Daily Exercise" three days a week, undertake and record results.
*Walk outside at least once a week. (I don't get out much.)
*Watch what I put in my mouth.
*Reduce my caloric intake.

Personal Information:
I am a wife of 43 years to the same man. I say that because we have a friend that says he has been married 25 years which is technically true. He has been married 5 times in those twenty five years. Six if you count the time he married the same woman twice. So I say 43 years to the same man. LOL

I am a mother of three wonderful grown ups. A daughter who is a doctor, a Rheumatologist. Good for us old folks. And two sons. Who are both Nuclear electricians. I am very proud of each of them.

I am a grandmother of five terrific grandchildren, three beautiful girls and two handsome boys.
