FEBRUARY, 2018. To walk enough fast is making me feel fantastic. I lost 5 pounds without modifying my diet but regained it not on Thanksgiving nor Christmas but because of stress in January. No matter what, people tell me that I look fitter and I really feel better. However, I want to lose weight, so (again), I'm eliminating the cereals since today. I'm going to go back to low carb, but gradually because I function better with gradual changes.

Initial weight: 237 pounds on 2/12/2018

NOVEMBER 07, The starch and fruit in Whole30 made me gain weight and actually get inflammation all over! I just will copy what I did on June 2016. Low carb without stress


I began the Whole30 way of eating to eliminate all possible contributors to inflammation and inflammatory diseases. I feel a litle guilty because I was doing a ketogenic diet and in whole 30 I can eat fruits and starchy vegetables. Just in case, I'm trying to keep it to a minimum just because they taste too much delicious. No weigh-in in 30 days. Let's see what I write after 30 days! May God Help me!


I know it's difficult to believe that a person can gain weight without increasing calories. I blame the stress. The most after seeing my weight loss report, Everything perfect and going down from June to August, a horrible plateau and them the pounds climbing at a moderate speed. I also began eating "healthy", following the challenges tasks, so I introduced fruits, whole cereals, low-fat... In addition, the drama. The other people's problems overwhelm me, the most when they are so hungry of attention, and they receive it. I wrote in the team about Venezuela, my country, how the people is eating from the garbage, how they are killed and abused everyday, how nobody pays attention to it and only TWO people commented and supported me. I have given support to everyone who asked for and that indifference was the final slap on my face. I didn't come to sparkpeople to be the free therapist of anyone. I came to lose weight. I did when I wasn't part of any challenge. I stopped and regained all weight when I got into the challenges. It's not PCOS, it's just stress. I came out of the drama, I'm back to low-carb, now VERY low, and now I'm happy!


Thanks for your prayers. We didn't take the decision of leaving on time. Now, highways are full of traffic and the cone of path covers all the peninsula.
I live out of evacuation zone, we have gas at car, generator, I have enough packaged chicken stock, baked pork rinds and hibiscus tea for my very low carb, high fat diet (I'll prepare and but in empty water bottles later, also oolong. black, green). House is almost totally boarded, except two back rooms isolated from the rest of the house. by walls or doors. We have food and water. I also bought a Cadbury milk chocolate to put in my mouth if I see death near, so when I die I think I'm going to Heaven!

Friday, September 8th (Day of the Virgin), 2017

I just gave up in all this craziness.
I'm deleting all those non-sense commitments that cause me frustration. I will do my best everyday! I won't write my goals so I don't receive bad vibes...

I'm a beloved woman, 53 years-old, married to a fantastic man and mother of the most precious teen. Both, my husband and son, are quite athletic and love outdoor life and sports and I can't keep up with them, mainly due to my overweight.

I have low self-esteem and negative self-talk. I want to stop this so I don't sabotage my goals anymore. Also, I want to create a positive environment that help me reach my goals and feel the sweetness of SUCCESS, something I don't feel for myself. I'm praying for consistency and discipline and, of course health, so I can reach my goal of losing 109 pounds in one year, beginning on June 1st, 2016.

May God Help me in reaching this and other goals in Life!

    Thank you reading my blog! I haven't tried cutting out wheat, but I have wondered if it would make a difference. I know many people have great success with it. I may have to start thinking about it more seriously.

    Thank you for my yoga matt goodie.. I am going to start plus size yoga really soon. As my body has become somewhat stiff since my double knee replacements 2 years ago. I still have full flexion and would love to keep it. Most knee replacements people don't get full flexion. So I am very happy with that. I watched my nephew do that P90x thought I was going to die and I was only watching it. There is a couple of new beach body exercise DVDs that have come out that I would love to get my hands on but not with joining Beach Body because it is expensive. One is called "Cize" where you basically dance with the instructor using all of your body and it is not hard dance moves I have been following this coach on Facebook she gives out free advice all the time and shows us the different exercise plans that they have and she does not push the products. She is also a plus size model on a journey to be fit. She is honest and tells you about ALL of her details of her journey to be healthy and fit. I love her because she is plus size and won't lie to you or give any B.S. just to get you to do what she thinks you should be doing.

    you are welcome about following your page. I love it when people our totally awesome and put it out there completely. After all we are all out for the same goal of losing weight and getting healthy. Right?

    Have a good day I am off for some family therapy with my 15 year old. Just what I want to do at the crack of dawn. But have to do it at this time because my husband works graves

    That is cool you could open the link... I gave you some boxing gloves but my dumb dog unplugged my keyboard by moving his bed around that is under my desk. They are for you to give kick boxing a try. I would love to do it but have serious balancing issues just walking, My niece lost about 75 in the course of a year just doing that for 2 hours a day but that is a lot of commitment I don't know that I could do it for 2 hours a day IF I was in shape.. Also she is was not in bad shape before. She had just gained weight with her 2 pregnancies. Now she is only about 141 on a 5' 9 ' frame.. It works for her but I can do kick boxing without falling down and I don't need that for sure. . . .

    I am 53 1/2 right now and have 3 kids .. 1 son 31 and a daughter 30 and Jeremy whom made it to 15.. now 4 more years of high school . . I swear that he is harder that raising a girl and that was tough.. haha
