Enjoy the journey
Take chances. It's YOUR plan. It doesn't have to look like anyone else's plan. If it doesn't work for you, let it go. Experiment. Enjoy your journey.
Important Things to Remember:
1. Keep your plan simple. Do not complicate it with a bunch of rules that make it difficult.
2. Don't expect perfection. No guilt.
3. Expect plateaus.
4. Don't get in a rush.
5. Listen to your body.
6. Never give up on yourself.

Accept missteps as if they never happened. Learn from them and move on immediately. Persistence, not perfection.

Intermittent fasting does not tell me what to eat. It tells me when to eat. I choose the length of the eating and fasting windows.
It has made a sustainable difference in my journey. It is a healthy way to live. Fasting lets my body switch from go mode to repair mode. (There are many kinds of fasts.)
1. While I may eat what I want, it's important to strive for balance. Get enough protein. Listen to my body. Stop eating when approaching full.
2. Eat fruits and vegetables.
3. Make water the beverage of choice. Reach for black coffee or tea when I want something besides water.
4. Because of health issues, I avoid sugar.
5. IF helps me avoid grazing all day (or night!) or reaching for junky snack foods.
January 2021 Added water fasting days to the schedule. There are so many health benefits to fasting, whether it's one day or more. I drink water, black coffee and tea without additives.
Personal Information:
My walk with the Lord keeps me centered. I have learned much through the years that have sent my roots deep. I look forward to the day when I will see Jesus. My family and friends are very important and precious. I love to read and write, and pursue creative interests. I used to travel and still love exploring the world in other ways. Photography can document our life journey. Pictures capture memories.

There is a fine balance between honoring the past & losing yourself in it. . . . you can acknowledge & learn from mistakes you made, & then move on & refocus on the now. It is called forgiving yourself. Eckhart Tolle
