    Welcome to Living Binge Free, where success is not measured by weight loss or following any particular plan or keeping within calories goals, etc., though we can have those aspirations. We simply do all we can not to binge, no matter what trigger has been pulled. It often involves learning to feed ourselves regularly, learning which foods are really pleasing, both when we eat them and later. But it often also means being able to put up with some distressing thoughts and sensations-urges- without eating. Let's face it, even if we eat, we're going to have SOME distressing feelings later, and usually compounded. But it usually takes many experiences before this becomes so clear that the ship starts to turn and we make the tough choice more and more often. That's why we do it together! We symbolically squeeze hands when it's tough to resist, give hugs when it didn't work, and cheers when it did! emoticon
