Getting my life back


I am now retired. I work part time to keep busy but since I have a family history in which living to 100 seems to be a norm, I felt it was time to lose weight so the next 45 years are healthy ones.
I am now retired. I work part time to keep busy but since I have a family history in which living to 100 seems to be a norm, I felt it was time to lose weight so the next 45 years are healthy ones.

Fitness Minutes: 144,531

My Goals:
To reach my normal weight of 125 pounds.
Losing the weight should lower my cholesterol.

My Program:
 I have a stationary bike, treadmill and sauna which I will use along with Yoga, Pilates.

I take vitimins and supplements.

    I applied for another rottweiler. This dog got sick in just 4 days and they said they would not adopt her out. I think if they would have liked me to wait and see if she recovered, they would have said so. I liked all the information about her.

    I got an e-mail this evening from the adoption agency and was told Pretty Girl has pneumonia and they won't be adopting her out.

    To say I am greatly disappointed doesn't really convey the sense of loss. I thought she was going to be the one.

    the telepathic event was no trick. it was over my phone (they 15 miles away), my regular deck of cards, and the man had no prior connection to me. He simply asked me to pick any card and concentrate on it, then he told me the card I was holding. that's when I lied and hung up the phone.

    In 1965 they didn't have the surveillance technology we have today. And trust me in that small kitchen, I searched every inch to see if there was any kind of tiny camera. First I panicked because I thought he could see me, then I really freaked when I realized he had read my mind.

    You and I have the same weight loss goal, to get to 125 lbs. I don't drive on the interstate highways or I would say let's get together. My husband works at the NIH building in Bethesda and doesn't get home until late in the evening.
