Introduction Text Hi Sparkers! My name is Allison and I love in Nova Scotia, Canada. I joined SparkPeople about 3 years ago, joined a great group (30 Somethings), lost almost 60 pounds, and was feeling pretty good. But then something happened...life threw me a couple curves (my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers, I had some work related issues, and some other things), I got quite depressed, and due to emotional eating, I managed to gain all my weight back again. Well, things haven't really improved, but here I am again. I'm fed up of being this overweight, and I need to get this weight off...again. SparkPeople helped me lose a lot of weight before, and I know they can help me again. I did it once, and hopefully I can do it again...the second time around.

To lose weight....a lot of weight. To be healthy, and happier about myself.

I am following a diet plan, with lots of healthy foods, fruits and veggies. I am also exercising, with strength training, walking and biking.

I work for a large insurance company as an adjustment adjudicator. I'm an avid music lover, dog lover and bookworm.
