I just realized this part is totally liable to being changed every few days. That's me; ole Change-With-the-Wind herself. Anyways my name is Cami, and I LOVE MY DOG SASHA! I am honestly beginning to love exercise, fun exercise that is. I love Jesus, my personal savior. I love to write; comedy, horror, action, and sometimes poetry. I love the Air Force, and want to join it after a few years in college (Enlisted Officers, here I come).

This website has really been helping me to slowly change.
I mean sure my bad habits have been winning out 6.75/7 times a week for the past ever in my life. But now they only win about 4/7, 3/7, or even 2/7 times a week. There have actually seriously honestly really totally even been a few times when my HEALTHY habits won 7/7 times a week. (Admittedly though they have been rare). But oh my gosh guess what that's PROGRESS YAY!!! So I should feel good about that, and I do. I mean yes my weight has been bouncing around all February and March, but I've managed to stay out of the 170s for over a month, and I've been getting a lot more active every day. I can even fit into my jeans again, which I haven't been able to do since August 2011! So that's something to be happy about.

And to keep up this progress I have made three rules for myself on a day by day basis. I posted them in my front room, living room, and bedroom. Here they are:

Rule #1
I will exercise EVERYDAY

Rule #2
I will drink water EVERY TIME before I eat food

Rule #3
I will eat food ONLY at the table, NOWHERE ELSE in the house

Who knows I just might post randomly on your wall to tell you I followed the rules or broke one.

I know I'm not the only Biggest Loser fan around here, and this season is all about 'no excuses'. I really like it because it touches me deep somewhere, although it doesn't always last that long because sometimes the next mealtime I'll find myself bingeing yet again.

Consistency. My gosh it's such a simple word, yet has almost no contact in my life whatsoever. The most consistent diet I have ever maintained is the sacred heart diet for most of two weeks (I cheated on it a few times, but still managed to lose weight, me gusta!)

Honestly I am one of those up, down, up, down, up, down, up, up, down, down, down, up, down, up, up, down, up down kind of people. Every time I embark on a healthy fitness journey I end up losing focus and bingeing within a few days, and I can feel it in my clothes. I mean it's a hopeless feeling. I literally cannot count the times I have told myself 'This Time For Sure' and then fell back on the fat track, within a few days. So I'm really going to keep striving forward with Sparkpeople, no matter what. I'm going to just keep battling my inner emotional eater until the day I win.

Hokay so I'm building myself up to Insanity on April 1st. I will be taking a before pic in all my flubby glory =p. I've also got to admit I've been pretty bad about updating my spark nutrition consistently. Usually I go several days in a row then stop, especially around the weekend. So I will try to be more consistent about that.

So if somebody actually reads my bio or my blogs or something PLEASE give me good advice, tell me something interesting or give me a good anecdote or joke or something! Hey I need help and I certainly can't do this on my own.

Here's to a new life, progress NOT perfection. Keep striving ahead, because if I don't I'll fall completely back to my old ways, which I don't want to do. For me it's a constant battle, hourly, daily, weekly. I wanna live in the moment and not waste regrets, but to learn from them and move on.

I'm going to Bellingham in July, and want to be able to wear a bikini =] April 1st I'll put up some before pics and then do Insanity The first week of July would be my 90 days and I'll put up an after picture.

I am making a longterm goal to walk my dog at least once a day, she needs the exercise too.

Also I want to follow my three rules every day, make them lifelong habits.

Most of all I want to KEEP the weight off once I lose it, and keep healhty habits for life!

My Program:
Going to start Insanity on April 1st, 2012! Probably going to do weight watchers with my mom too.

Personal Information:
I love Jesus, He is my personal Lord and Savior. I look forward to getting to know Him more and more and to know His plan for me.

I am a co-teacher at ECLC on an Indian reservation in a small rural Idaho town. (I am clearly white, but I do have Yankton Sioux and Gros Ventre blood in me)

Other Information:
I LOVE to write, 'tis a passion of mine which I rarely get to indulge in.

I also love to read, but if you mention Twilight around me I will vomit on you; that is not real literature. My favorite authors are Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and Douglas Adams.

I am in love with my dog Sasha. I don't mean in a bestiality kind of way, ha ha. But she is my baby, my pride and joy, my beloved pooch and I absolutely adore her and am so thankful God has given her to me in my life. =]

    It's JUNE! Where has the time gone?

    Please forgive the blanket letter but there were too many people to thank and simply not enough time to write personal notes to everyone...

    Thank you so much for your support and friendship. I am happy to say that I am pretty much back up and running full steam and only have a couple more hurdles to jump to finally put this cancer battle behind me. Now I can look forward to concentrating on my original goals again and come the fall will (fingers crossed) be well on my way to being heathy and happy.

    Coincidentally, this Friday, June 8th, is Best Friends Day. So for all those in your life that you are thankful for, please take a moment to reach out, give a hug and share a smile. Where would our lives be without the amazing support and friendship from someone like you?
