    Jenye,

Have you thought about trying Chair exercises. I have a dvd that is great Seated tai chi for arthritis. I love it. there are many free seated chair exercises on Utbe and I think I have shared a few in our team in the forums. Just a thought these may help if you like.

Exercise does help you lose weight more quickly if you like it and are able. So if you are confined to a wheel chair try seated exercises if you like. Just a thought and as always up to you to know what is right for you. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thank you for your lovely smiley face. I decided to divert my attention to something more positive, such as Sparking, rather than dwelling on the health of my friend. Super low sodium levels yet again, despite all their efforts to increase them, so she was transferred to Ballarat Hospital this afternoon for more tests. Hoping something positive can be done so she can once again be well enough to live independently at home, supported by her large group of friends.

I was going to ask if you'd mind me adding you as a friend when I saw you'd added me, so thank you. I look like being tied up for at least a few months, as I can't see my friend being instantly transformed to her former self, plus having the fun of moving house, even if it is only across the street. No need to worry about having to drive to meet me, I'm often down in Ballarat, so when both you and I are organised, and the time is right for us to meet, I can come meet you wherever and whenever you like.

I agree with you - my Dad found the same thing, that he needed to move to somewhere different to make a whole lot of new and happy memories, while holding on to the old ones. Ballarat is a lovely city, big enough without being too big, and with wonderful facilities for people of all ages and abilities. I'm sure once you settle in there, you will be glad you chose to move there.

    Chris.

Thank you Susie and Nola. It certainly is a new way of living and it will take me a long while to re-adjust. emoticon
