Introduction Text Hi - I've known about Sparkpeople for years now, but haven't used it to help me. I know a tremendous amount about eating healthy, and exercising, I just haven't been doing the right stuff. I hope I can change all that now. I have been gaining and losing weight since I was 12. I am an emotional eater. In the past I have lost 70 to 100 lbs three times. Since I had my kids I've pretty much stayed around the same weight. I know it won't just fall off without taking action. My big challenge is to not let my depressions and emotional eating put the weight on more than my healthy eating gets it off. There has been a lot of talk of doing stomach-stapling surgery, but that doesn't always turn out, and I figure with my emotional eating problems I could just put it all back on (like in the past!) so I want to get it off in a more emotionally healthy manner. I only get on the internet every two months or so. I'm trying to change that - if I get online more often, maybe I can make more changes in my life.

My goal is to lose weight to become healthier and more active.

Finding support systems, eating less processed foods and more veggies, plus getting some kind of exercise into my day.
