Introduction Text Hi there, like you, I'm in this to loose weight. Living in the wilds of Manitoba, walking can be a challenge. If you live here you know all about the cold in the winter and the numbers of mosquitoes that like to accompany you when your out. I love to kayak and swim, travel, read, and have a passion for art and painting. Been married 41 years to a great fellow that I have nothing in common with, but after this long, I'll keep him.

To loose the first 5 pounds - then another 5 pounds - 5 pounds more, until I've lost weight...

I live in the Northwest Interlake of Manitoba, Canada. Winters are cold and summers can be hot. We have a cottage on Lake Manitoba that we enjoy.

* I'm an Artists, currently working on a "body of work". I have my first show in November of this year. * I love to travel. * I enjoy reading a good mystery/spy novel, and like action movies. * Although I am not fond of walking, but realize it is an evil I MUST do. I do like to swim and kayak, I find this eliminates a lot of stress. * I work full-time as a Support-Services Officer and have worked for the same organization for 23 years. * I quite smoking over 15 years ago, and if I can do that, I should be able to tackle this. * I've been married for 41 years, and have 1 daughter. * I like dogs and we have "Bart" - he is a Chi-Jack Russell mix. That's me!
