Introduction Text Mark 9:23 NKJV Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. What we believe about ourselves will either lead us to victory or defeat. Jesus said that all things are possible to the one who believes. Transformation comes as a process, but aligning with God's plan to transform us and then walking out that process is our part. God has the plan and as we seek Him He directs our steps. My desire is that God would transform my life as I seek Him and walk according to His principles for good health, spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally! It begins with my belief that God is for me and if He is for me and I apply myself to what He shows me, together with Him, I will win! My perspective of my journey to healthy living is changing day by day as I yield to the direction of the Lord and apply healthy living choices to my eating and exercise activities. Each choice that I make may not be seen on the outside right at the moment, but I am being changed from the inside out. God is working on me molding me and making me into the person that He wants me to be. It's as I look into His face through prayer and Bible Study that He changes me. The person that I am is not perfect nor perfectly shaped by the world's standards but as my mother often said beauty is only skin deep, meaning there was more to a person than their outward appearance. Of course she was placing an emphasis on a person's character being more important than their outward appearance as we all have inner flaws. My faith is in Jesus and it is through Him that I can do all things. Two of my favorite scriptures are: Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing will be impossible." Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." May God empower each of us to live healthily through embracing and applying good choices in the food that we place within our bodies and the movement we choose to exercise them!
