Hello my name is Amber!
I joined Sparkpeople on July 17th, 2019. My goal is to lose 70 pounds.

The nutrition end of things to me is the hardest to figure out with having multiple health conditions and foods I hae to avoid I had been working with a dietcian in the past and I have an appointment in the 3rd week in January to come up with working in my new FODMAPS diet.

I am currently recovering from a back injury at the beginning of December.

Fitness Minutes: 5,295

My Goals:
~ My ultimate goal is to lose a total of 70 pounds by November 17th, 2020!
~ Eating healthier
~ Drink at least ten, 8oz glasses of water
~ Exercise daily for at least 30 minutes
~ Lose at least one pound a week
~ Quit Smoking
~ Daily positive thinking
~ Meditate daily
~Journaling - Thoughts, feelings and things I am grateful for each day

My Program:
~ Sparkpeople
~ Low carb diet
~ Chug 8oz of water every one to two hours
~ Take a walk each morning, strength training and yoga
~ Weigh-in once a week
~ Read a inspiring quote each morning
~ Meditation classes every Wednesday evening and daily meditation
~ Journal first thing in the morning and before going to bed each evening

Personal Information:
I am a girl boss that is at the beginning of building her empire. I love to volunteer my time for Animal Rescues, Cancer Organizations and Domestic Violence shelters and charities. I don't have the dollars to help charities but I sure do have my time and love to offer.

Other Information:
I am exploring options into getting a home based business started I also love to read and play computer games. I am just getting started with a free MBA certification course. I am also looking into working toward a degree in Psychology.

    Hi, if you are looking for a challenge group to help you lose weight, the Biggest Loser Challenge group is starting a new challenge (Jan 1st, first WI is Jan 8th) with registration happening right now.
    I am a captain of the Resolute Renegades that focuses on finding what helps you lose weight (there are basics, but we are all a bit different), and accountability (encouraging you to get your weight loss tasks done). We don't spend a lot of time online instead focusing on our weight loss tasks in real life.
    If this team doesn't feel like a fit for you, there are all kinds of teams that focus on support or pushing exercise minute or nutrition or other topics, so you can find a team that fits for you.
