My name says it all. I am here on this journey to find the badass within. To help me along in my fight, because I will be... Strong. Toned. Sexy. Ripped.

I have started spark people to keep me motivated in my exercise/attitude/nutrition adventure. I need support too! We all do. I look at so many spark pages and think, I can do that! So, here I am look at my pictures and you will see me, but read along and you will begin to see the inner me.

Do you know what I want? I want to be healthy. Healthy to me is someone who is comfortable in their own skin. Someone who enjoys eating clean whole meals. Someone who doesn't have a doubt when they leave their front door to go for a run. I want to play with my boys without thinking for a moment that I am too tired.

There are 3 things (thanks Jillian) that I shall concentrate on to meet my goals.
1. Exercise
2. Nutrition
3. Attitude
For me attitude is my biggest struggle. Attitude can change your mood, your stride and your relationships with others. To me nutrition is clean healthy wholesome eating. Exercise needs to happen strength training/cardio/cross training. But before all must come ATTITUDE. I know I wouldn't have been able to finish the Spring Dash or Bloomsday without pulling from my inner self...as Jillian says, "so channel that inner badass, and let's get ripped!"

Short term goal weigh 135 by my birthday June 30th!

    Hey, girl! How's life? I have a t-shirt I got for you about 2 months ago :) maybe I could drop it by this stretch? I'm here 'til Wednesday. Still working out like a madman? I am, things are going well! I had a fabulous 8 days off- did some Mt biking in MT, kayaking, lots of fun! We need to talk! I miss you!

    Hello!!!!! I am back! YES, back for good!!! I worked out hard today after almost 2 weeks of not lifting. It was a mental struggle to even go to the gym, because that bad voice was telling me I couldn't do it after such a long time off... but I did and it felt great! I'm going to start tracking my eating and exercise and use my sparkpeople too!!! Thanks for caring :)

    I don't think Jillian has children, but DENISE AUSTIN is 51, has two teenage girls and she's 5'4" and 112#. She went to the U. of Arizona on a gymnastics scholarship.
    Your family is adorable. Keep on being a BADASS. I worked in nursing and it isn't a job for a wimp. emoticon
