I had great success with Spark People and lost about 75 pounds about 7 years ago. I kept it off until a couple of year ago, when I started working from home. And then I put on about 20 pounds pretty quickly. I've been telling myself for years that I know what works and how to do it, so I didn't "need" to get back on SparkPeople. Well, it's been a couple of years and I still haven't gotten that 20 pounds off. So, maybe I "need" SparkPeople after all. I need to be honest with myself about what I'm really putting into my mouth and the accountability of calorie tracking cannot be denied. So, here I go again. I'm going to get my body back. I worked too hard to get that weight off to let any more of it creep back on.

My Goals:
I want to lose at least the 20 pounds that I gained. I want to firm up and just feel better about myself again. I miss feeling comfortable in my own body.

My Program:
I am committing to drinking more water and staying within my calorie limit. I am lowering my carbs (but not eliminating them) because I am a carb addict. The more carbs I eat, the more I want. So, I've got to be smart about the kind of carbs that I put in my body. I am striving for balance in my mind, body and life.

Personal Information:
I am blessed to be a stay-at-home homeschooling mom. I have an 11 year-old son, and 7 year-old daughter. I have been married for 19 years!

Other Information:
Proverbs 31 Woman
(selected verses)

An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life...She rises also while it is still night and gives food to her household...She girds herself with strength and makes her arms strong...Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future. She opens her mouth in wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and bless her;
Her husband also, and he praises her, saying: "Many daughters have done nobly, but you excel them all." Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
