Good morning it is January 9 2021 and I must start a new journey. Jan 2016 was when I first joined spark people & dropped 30 pounds, It took a while but its all back. So here I go day one! ********** 2019 Getting it going in 2019. I went into survival mode July 2018 when my right knee gave out! With my husband we still managed our huge gardens. I managed the canning, freezing & root cellar. We butchered chicken's too. I had to wait until Oct for surgery recovery & rehab done. Time to move forward again. I'm back on Spark People why did I ever stop. Wife, mother of two, grandmother to five. Independent, busy, retired, looking forward. ents From Other Members More about me! I do all the Minnesota things Garden, barbecue year round, can, bake, cook, help with five Grandkids (Chase 8, Kairi Jo 6, NORA 4, Owen 2 Sept & Perrin 2 Oct. I own three motorcycles I ride. Allen my husband of 35 years coming July, owns four motorcycles he rides a few more in states of over haul. We have camped in most camping devices over our years together in trucks and rigs on bikes but we just got a great used pickup and truck camper so we can hall bikes or boat. This new push to get back in shape is to get ready for a trip south to Texas back country. Every winter I manage to stay at a weight I can just get my bike jacket on and zipped this year I want it roomie easily able to ware my electric vest under it again. LOL I have arthritis & have had several repairs. Just sing the song "Head shoulders knees & toes " that will just about cover it. ************* March 3rd 2016**** I am working out, trying to pack and plan for our epic trip south. Today is the start of my third month journey to make the healthy changes I need to. I am down 8 1/2 pounds, two sizes in cloths, physically much much stronger. Thank you all for your support. I am looking forward to long walks in the countryside of Texas by Big Bend Natl park. No coverage where we will be staying between March 18 - April 9 but for a couple trips to town. Got my Cize DVDs, a good eating plan as I pack the camper. Not giving up any time soon.
