I am tired of feeling disappointed in myself. I know I feel better when I make healthy food choices and consistently exercise. I am a planner in all other phases of my life, it is time to start planning ahead with my fitness and nutrition.

I am not trying to get skinny, I would just like to feel healthy and confident in my body. I am strong and smart and I know I can do this.

I am currently experimenting with trying more whole food plant based options in my diet. I have been dealing with a lot of body inflammation and my research indicates some of it may be due to excess meat, dairy and sugar intake. I am not planning on going full vegan, but incorporating more vegan style meals into my daily menus.

I also plan to be more active. I have been great this summer, walking or hiking nearly every day, and also doing yoga 4-6 days per week. I am going to add strength training to my regular routine, and also squeeze in an extra walk every day that I can.

2020 has been a pretty crappy year so far, but I plan to do what I can to get my nutrition under control bit by bit!

Avoid refined sugar



My Program:
low fat, low salt, low cal
cardio 3x week (walking, stationary biking, low impact aerobics)
ST 3x week (hand weights, body weight)
Yoga 3x week
