I loved your comment about getting your children ready to go outside. It reminded me of an experience when my twins were just 6 months old. I had already gotten the 3 girls dressed but still had to put on the snow suits for the boys. I was on the floor struggling when my phone rang (before cell phones). It was my friend from Florida. I tried to talk with her while continuing to dress the boys who started crying while my girls were restlessly whining because they were now too hot! I tried to explain to her what was going on but she had absolutely no way of understanding!

Every other time we've gone down there it's been a good drive. My husband loves to drive so I keep the maps (even though we know the way now) and knit. We even have great conversations. But with him still recuperating from his illness and the roads all torn up everywhere - the trip down was less than enjoyable. But I wouldn't have given up that time with the kids for anything!

Yes, I still remember every moment of that knee surgery recovery and am really trying to do everything I can to avoid another one. My trainer Katie had me doing some new things yesterday - strengthening my muscles but staying away from the knee. It actually feels a bit better today.

Intuitive feelings arise in many forms, and can even vary from day to day. You may hear them in your mind . . . feel them, sense them, see them or . . . have a direct feeling . . . “I just know”. Sonia Choquette

Thanks for reading my "diet studies" blog.

I was overweight and obese for years and know how tough this issue is. It is hard to make the changes and society doesn't make it any easier.
