Caalan - As Sharp as Marbles
Hello All,
Ny name is Tina. I like to consider myself a fairly intelligent woman and for the most part, I'm successful and happy. Except when it comes to maintaining a healthy (healthier) weight; on that subject I'm about as sharp as marbles.
Oh, I know how to play the game and know all the rules and that calories in vs. calories burned is how it gets done. On paper it's supposed to be simple. Just like marbles. Simple. But we all also know that nothing is ever ...

Ny name is Tina. I like to consider myself a fairly intelligent woman and for the most part, I'm successful and happy. Except when it comes to maintaining a healthy (healthier) weight; on that subject I'm about as sharp as marbles.
Oh, I know how to play the game and know all the rules and that calories in vs. calories burned is how it gets done. On paper it's supposed to be simple. Just like marbles. Simple. But we all also know that nothing is ever as easy as it seems and things like dust, lint, and the occasional dead bug can throw your marble right off track. Or, if you're like me, in all my brilliance, it seems I like to play marbles on a hill. Pointless, right? All that effort only to watch success roll away and out of reach?
I wish to rectify that. I hope to do that here.
My obvious goal is to lose some weight. Nooo problem. I've done that many times. My hard and fast goal? The one that's more difficult?...This time I want it to stay gone for good. I want a lifestyle that I can fall back on no matter what life throws at me, whether it's dust, laundry, major life stressors and even the occasional dead bug. ;) I want to be able to handle these things without rolling back down the hill and looking back up at the mountain.
So here goes! Who's with me?

My Goals:
I want to lose weight of course. Better than that, I want to feel as strong physically as I do mentally. I want to be able to keep up with my son, who is quite active. I want to learn to swim all four competitive strokes. I want that little black dress to actually be a bit "little." :)
My Program:
I am eating a healthy range of foods and beginning exercises with daily cardio.
Personal Information:
I am in Central Arkansas and mother to one very active teenage boy.
Other Information:
I love to read. Books are my jewelry! Fall is my favorite season although I seem to be allergic to everything about it, but that's what Zyrtec is for! I love a good laugh and if I watch a movie it will most likely be a comedy.
