As a gamer my husband always called me a calamitie...so I've chosen it for my name. He's no longer with us but still lingers in my mind. I've a very short round old lady. Would love to live a healthier lifestyle and lose weight if possible. It is a daily struggle to not eat mindlessly.

    You have certainly done your share of caregiving and so have I. I wish somehow I could find peace in my life now. Like you I'm happy my parents are together again.

    I read so many times that I should feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to care for my mother for her last 5 years on earth. One day maybe I will. emoticon emoticon You are doing so much better with this than I am. emoticon

    Thank you for reading my blog tonight, and for the nice comments. Yes, I am looking forward to get into the pool for the water walking, some how that seems a safer way than walking outdoors right now for awhile. Keep using your knee for going up stairs, it will help. Remember tho---up with the good leg ( knee), down with the injured or surgical one. I have down that since my partial replacement years ago.
