    Welcome and thanks for adding me as your friend. There are lots of helpful tools here that will aid you in reaching your goal. So many people have used this program and been successful.     Hi, yes it can be a bit overwhelming at first here on spark, but you'll soon get the hang of it. For the community stuff, just do that when you feel ready - i.e. when you've figured your way around the site a bit more and are using what works for you!! I started making friends on here by browsing spark pages and gradually adding people/pages I liked the look of and leaving comments on pages. This in turn led to me adding spark friends. I also joined some spark teams (lots at first) and got involved with chatting in some of the more active teams, then I stuck with the ones that seemed to work for me. I know lots of people on here who use spark just for tracking nutrition and fitness goals and others who only use it for the community side - I like to take advantage of both!!
    I hope you really like it on this site and find it useful to you - I like many others here have found it invaluable and can still hardly believe that its free!!
    140lbs is a lot to lose - I know, I'm 101 into my 130 loss plan. Some days are tough, some weeks are terrible, but I just kept on going until one day I realised that hey this IS working. Sometimes I lose, sometimes I gain, but the overall trend is there and being here on spark really has helped.
    Let me know how your week goes - you sound like you're doing amazing so far -12lbs down!!
