Hello, and welcome to my Spark page. I've struggled, I've fallen flat on my face, and I've gotten back up again. I began to look at my lagged weight-loss journey as a failure. I began to doubt my ability in many things. I came back on here ready to kick myself into shape.

What has changed for me this time; especially if I'm almost the same weight years later?

I've learned how to inspire others. I've learned how to help them along their journey. The more I help others, the more I help myself. I've learned how to love myself. I've learned how to inspire myself while inspiring others.

I learned to not look at my weight as the problem. My attitude was the problem. I began to focus on the smaller things I could do. It began to lead into bigger things.

My blogs may seem like I'm whining.. but I'm not. I am showing the world that I am learning each and every day about who I am, what helps/hurts me. I've learned how to look within instead of in the mirror.

Please, let me be your inspiration. We can seriously meet our goals together. I don't know everything in life, but I've made some huge mistakes. I've done a lot of stupid stuff.. I've lived and learned.

My Goals:
With time, goals often change. When I first joined Spark (I can't remember when I originally joined).. I just needed something to get me going in the right direction. Ultimately I failed myself. I saw Spark as my rebound diet plan after I figured Weight Watchers didn't work for me. Today, my goals are to lose 105 lbs, maintain a lower sugar level, and to prevent my T2 Diabetes. I was diagnosed in 2013 as borderline. I would like to keep it at borderline, or prevent it all together.

My Program:
I've revamped my program. I'm not so focused on calories. I know that my calories never reach a certain number. What I do focus on are the Macros. I've learned recently that Macros matter. I'm talking about every single thing you put into your body: Calories, carbs, fat, fiber, and all the essential vitamins. I'm also becoming more motivated. I may not be able to exercise daily (Cardio etc), but I make sure I move every 10-15 min. I make sure I'm mindful about what I do each and every day. I am in a Morbid Obese Support Group and we share our victories, hard times, and give each other advice. We also crack each other up.

Personal Information:
I lived in Texas when I redid my Spark profile. I currently reside in Hagerstown, Maryland. I have lived here since November 2013 and I really like it. Now, I live in Idaho. Yes, I did move again. But I've been here 2 years now.

Other Information:
When life tries to tell you that you failed, tell life that you haven't given up yet. It is only when we die, that our journey is completely over. If you think you cannot succeed, remember, failure is life lessons. We only fail once we totally give up. I keep coming back so I can succeed at this weight-loss goal. This time, I'm doing things totally different!

Hello and welcome back! You are right, some people just can’t get the struggle we have with food! I have two daughters-one struggles, the other eats whatever! However, she is mid-thirties now and beginning to understand! Our bodies are so complex! I hope you can develop the friends base you need for the support and encouragement you desire! Good luck as you continue your journey!
