    Hi there,
thanks for the blog comment :).

Grapefruit is usually enough to hold me over, for a few hours anyways. I try to eat every few hours, but citrus in the mornings is a great boost for your metabolism :)

    have a great day!

Check out your community center for cooking classes too. That's where I am taking mine.

Thanks for commenting on my blog.

I am taking the cooking classes at my local community center. It was $80 for four classes plus $10 per class for ingredients. You might want to check out your local community college, they might have a class.

For batch cooking I like to make a lot of big batches of soup lately. You can either portion them into sizes and freeze them, or if you love soup as much as me I never get sick of eatting them for either dinner or supper until they're gone. Also, I've made this recipe and it's very delicious (from a friends blog)

I also like buy bulk chicken breasts and poach some for the week and then I leave some of the breasts whole and chop some of them up into cubes for salads or what not. Then, you can season them or do whatever for taste when you pull them out of the fridge..quick and easy.

That's what I'm doing right now, but things change..sometimes I'll make mini casseroles..anything!! Hope that gives you some ideas for now, let me know what you make! :)
