Some changes I can't do much about - I'm getting older whether I like it or not. But I can change my body to make it slimmer, healther, and stronger!

I joined Sparkpeople in 2010 and did very well, losing 36 lbs the first year. Then I had a series of relapses. Goals: Eat healthier. Take meds as prescribed (I'm horrible about this) Exercise 4 times a week Take off the pounds no matter how long it takes.

Healthy eating (complex carbs, low-fat protein, with lots of fresh vegetables) and increased activity (stationary bike and walking).

I'm a grandmother, a mother, a farm girl, a music lover, a reader, a traveler, a writer, a gardener....I just love life.

My goals are: To make my health and happiness a higher priority in my life. To reach a healthy weight of 145. To increase my activity level by including daily exercise.
