Hi, I am a stay at home mom of four, married, and approaching the big 36 this year. Although I have been well aware that I have had a growing weight problem for some time now,...things really got bad when a former best friend of mine recently moved back to town and suprised everyone with a major weight loss. She'd always been heavier then me...and now she is so skinny. I was so happy for her...and so miserable for me. She is really active now and when I asked her to come over the other day, she said that she couldn't because she no longer spends time with overweight people...because she doesn't want to ever be fat again and she thinks being around her old larger friends will lead her down the road to being overweight again. I can't say that I agree with her or that I like her new attitude much...but what can I say to her really? Anyway...good or bad, what she said to me has given me the kick in the pants I needed and a couple people recommended spark people to me so here I am. I would love to buddy-up with any moms/women who have 100 or more pounds to lose.

My Goals:
I have a total of 125 pounds to lose overall. I have smaller goals of losing 20 pounds by July and 50 by Halloween. Just found out about an upcoming celtic festival in my area in august...sure would be great to look good for that too.
My ultimate goal however, is to go on vacation somewhere with the hubby and kids and not have to worry about how fat I look or if I will sit in airline or other small seats. I'm tired of being looked at as the fat mom on the sidelines.

My Program:
I will be exercising 5 days a week at home with workout dvds. I would like to workout a total of 2 hours every day.
As far as food goes, I will be eliminating bread items as this is my biggest weakness. Pizza is my chosen nemisis and I must avoid it at all costs.

Personal Information:
I am a stay at home mom and writer.
....and just to clear up any confusion in the matter, I am a pagan. Specifically I guess you could say I follow a traditional celtic path.

Other Information:
I enjoy shell collecting, baking/cooking, scrapbooking, reading, writing, and celtic events/culture.
Also, I secretly enjoy hula dancing and would probably learn to belly dance if I wasn't so darn fat.
