I want to have the confidence that I've always dreamed of having and feel comfortable in my own skin.

I'm a 21 year old college student, waitress, and partier. I love to go out with my friends and have a good time. I live next to the bars... which are bad news and I go out and have more to drink more often than I should! I'm trying to keep myself on track but it's much harder than I thought it would be!

I really need to focus on doing this once and for all because I know that it will boost my overall confidence and help me discover who I really am! No more procrastinating... I need to focus and do this for myself!!

I love the support of others and to give it back! I'd love to team up with people that are like me!

My Goals:
Lose 2 lbs a week.

Reshape my body with strength training exercises.

Finally feel confident with my body!

Current measurements: 36-31-38 Thighs: 22 in Arms: 10 in

Goal measurements: 34-25-34 Thighs: 18 in Arms: 8 in

My Program:
Track everything I eat, staying between 1200 - 1550 calories

Eat more protein throughout the day to keep from getting hungry from night after work.

Drink lots of water when get off work and eat only a small protein snack after.

Do strength exercises 2-3 times a week

Since I am a waitress, I am on my feet for hours at a time so I count that as my cardio

Allow myself 10 alcoholic drinks for each week. Whether that total be in 1 night or throughout the week.

Set mini-goals each week and reward myself in different ways or accomplishing them

Personal Information:
At 21 years old, I should have a ton of confidence and energy but I struggle and I know it's because of my body type.

Other Information:
I sometimes lose focus on what I want. I need to learn to stay focused and really work at what I want! Getting my body to what I want it to be will help me throughout my life with other things I want to achieve. I CAN DO THIS!

    since its my first visit to this site i preffered to see and join sucess story of u cz hope or dream differs from reality so u seem to have achieved ur goal so what advice can u give to me as iam 245pounds i was more than that but i lost 16pounds iam a mother of 3 kids they are all preschoolers iwason track but now lost my motivation

    Hi! I'm new to sparkpeople and I'm discovering that the best thing about it is getting to talk to people like YOU who are having the same problems as me! We are all busy, and we all want the best for ourselves! I'm a little older...almost 24 (yikes!) but I will tell you that I've learned there is a time and a place for everything...(yes! fun and drinking). Just remember that it doesn't contribute to your overall health...and doesn't necessarily contribute to that sense of confidence that you are wanting! It's nice to meet you and let me know if you need anything!
