    yep, the boot worked, I can't remember how long I wore it, but at least a week past when the pain stopped. That as well as icing it, stretching it, muscle strengthening exercises, and never touching the foor barefooted until it was healed totally (I had a pair of slip on sneakers I used as slippers in the house). Now, of course I am barefoot whenever possible, but have never had a recurrance and that would have been about 13 years ago. Good Luck, I know it is very painful.

    Hi there, thanks for your comment; I eat a ton of soy products mainly because I do not eat meat. So burgers, sausage, milk in smoothies, etc.
    I am going to go a couple of weeks without soy and then see if I can add anything in.
    How did you find out you couldnt eat some of the products? ...by just noticing how you felt after you ate?

    Hey Tracy, thanks for the congrats. I do appreciate it. I am so pleased to be on the downward track again. I find it so easy to maintain on low carb. But I am hoping to lose a good bit more yet.
