My name is Kristina. I just turned thirty and have been working on improving my health for a little over two years now. I have lost 100 pounds and I want to shed another 50. I have health issues that are exacerbated by a heavy weight and unhealthy lifestyle. I want my daughters to know that anything is possible and to always be body positive. My fiancé loves my current size but understands and is supportive of my weight loss journey.

I can relate to you in so many ways. My name is Heather. I have about 150 lbs to lose and I decided I am doing this not only for myself but for my son. He is 4 and also has autism and GERD. I too have been so worried about caring for him that I have completely neglected myself. I know he needs me here and if I am going to be here for him I need to lose weight and get in better shape. I am 26 years old also and from Arkansas!

    Hello Kristina,

Sounds like you have had a rough going so far. You are doing the right thing for yourself and your family. If you don't take care of yourself eventually your kids might have to take care of you. Your children will learn your new habits and you will be helping them in the long run.

I wish you the best of luck.
