I'm 26 years old and can't stand being overweight. It really hit me hard when I realized that since my significant other has been losing weight, he is almost at my current weight. In my eyes, I should be wayyy lighter than him. I also feel like I'm not being a true young adult and having fun. I never go to the beach because I hate wearing a bathing suit and I miss wearing a bikini. I don't always like going out at night, especially with skinnier people, because I don't always like how I look around them. I need a change and I need it now and I need to be the one to do it!! I've lost 15 pounds (I still can't believe it) since joining this website and even got to wear a bikini on the cruise I just took in May. Buttt I'm slipping again and not eating healthy...I'm back to get on the right track once again.

Personal Information:
I'm a social worker from the east coast. In my spare time I love playing volleyball and I love to go out dancing. I'm very outgoing and and would consider myself to be a social butterfly because I can talk to anyone you put me in a room with...I guess it helps to be that way with my profession!

    Hi! Thanks for stopping by my page. Yeah I knew I had to set little goals in order to get down to my goal of 135. 3 years ago I was 165 and lost the first 15 all on my own, just eating less and walking on a treadmill every morning before class. But this last 15 is harder. I just joined Weight Watchers with my mom and I have to say it's helping (at least for now). I really want to look good on this Christmas Cruise since it's my whole family and the pictures will be around forever! Keep up the good work!

    Hi!! So glad you stopped by my page. I don't know which piece of the puzzle worked for me...I began w/ Curves 6-Week Solution weight management plan. That plan had me keeping a journal of my food intake - and I still do that today. I track everything I eat - even on my "bad" days. I watch carbs more than anything else. I try not to allow too much cheating on weekends. I'm working on increasing water intake, exercise, and sleep!!! I can tell you I feel a lot better about myself - a lot more confidence...so keep at it. I've been working on this for 2 years now...and it's been worth it all. I see that you've got a good start going. Keep it up : )

    I'm so excited. I am on day 5 of a cardio streak. NOTHING MAJOR..But I have really been slacking these past few months...and I kept saying I DIDN'T have time...so I said, hey I can do one mile a day..and 7 miles a week sounds great to me... so I am doing it...
