Born to be Thin


I've been married for 9 years. I have 3 kids, only one of which is still living at home. I weighed 120 lbs. all my adult life, could eat anything, any time without gaining an ounce until I turned 40. I guess my metabolism dropped and before I knew it, I was weighing up in the 170's. It's definitely time to do something about it.

1st week - lost 3 lbs
2nd week - lost 5 lbs
3rd week - lost 0 lbs :(
4th week - lost 3 lbs
5th week - lost 0 lbs :(
6th ...

My Goals:
I want to start off losing 15 lbs for my vacation and then I would like to get down to 135.

My Program:
 I'm trying to follow the nutrition guide, drinking 8 glasses of water a day and walking on my lunch hour. Will be starting the strength training soon.


Personal Information:
I am married with three children, one still at home. I live on five acres in a rual community in Colorado. I have 3 dogs and 6 cats. I love to read and work in my garden. Can't wait for summer!!

Other Information:
 My favority movies include: Dirty dancing, A Walk to Rememberand The Notebook.

    Hi!! How are things going for you? Are you sparking away those pounds?? emoticon

    I pray that all is well with you!

    The Bible Reading series, and Devotionals will be starting again tomorrow. In order to get us back on track to finish by the end of the year, the first few days will have two days in one. For those of you that have participated before, the first week may be a repeat for you. Hope your able to join in!

    Stay strong, and keep climbing that mountain!! The view from the top is going to be wonderful!!
