Re-Writing Me
06/18/2019 - I'm not happy with myself. I know I should be, but I'm not. I don't have motivation to do anything about it right now. I've lost 6 family members in the past 3 years. My mom, my sister, a brother-in-law, 2 cousins and my ex-husband. I cannot seem to get out of the rut I'm in. I am told to quit living in the past but they were my past. They were to be my future as well.
Since my mom's death July 1, 2016 I have put almost 30 lbs back on of the 45 I lost. I can feel it ...
06/18/2019 - I'm not happy with myself. I know I should be, but I'm not. I don't have motivation to do anything about it right now. I've lost 6 family members in the past 3 years. My mom, my sister, a brother-in-law, 2 cousins and my ex-husband. I cannot seem to get out of the rut I'm in. I am told to quit living in the past but they were my past. They were to be my future as well.
Since my mom's death July 1, 2016 I have put almost 30 lbs back on of the 45 I lost. I can feel it in my bones, the way I walk, the way I breathe and mostly I can feel it in my heart. It breaks for what used to be.
My goal someday is just to get up out of bed without feeling so sad. I've never dealt with depression, but I know that's what I'm going through. At first I thought it was grief, but I think it has gone beyond that.
Today I'm trying to make changes. One day at a time to re-write me. To begin to be happy again. Something I've lost for the past 3 years.

1. Start new. Don't worry about what used to be, or how many times I've tried before, but concentrate on the here and now.

2. Start by loosing smaller amounts so my goal doesn't seem so high and unobtainable.
My Program:
1. Use resistant bands for strengthening.
♥~*~♥~*~♥~*~♥~
2. Stay within my calorie range
♥~*~♥~*~♥~*~♥~
3. Get on spark daily
♥~*~♥~*~♥~*~♥~
4. Drink allotted amount of water
♥~*~♥~*~♥~*~♥~
5. Incorporate more fruits & veggies

Good morning Sparkers. My name is Donna. This is my second time around on spark and I have made up my mind that even if my journey is slow I will continue to do the best I can for myself.
Other Information:
I work as a Certified Information and Referral Specialist and Certified Resource Specialist at A Renewed Mind which provides resources to local communities in Northwest Ohio. We also provide Behavioral Health Services in the form of emergency mental health assessments and outpatient counseling services.
