Does it seem like a year ago our lives (or most of ours) turned so UPSIDE DOWN!!??? I went thru as did many a LOT of changes. I'm a very sociable person. I went from congregation meetings at least 2 times a week (Plus volunteer time thru the week) to suddenly ZOOM in which we can't hug. To not seeing many who've known me since I was a teen, an EON ago!!

From having a very active life to suddenly only seeing 4 people on any type of basis which is now down to 1. I was a foster grandmother for a 2nd grade classroom (Aww miss those kids!).

There were money changes, but I have to admit that I'm probably one of the few who gained in this aspect not lost. Only because I went back to work for the grocery store, add in COVID pay plus what I earn hourly and I do quite well. Sounds weird, but it's a store that truly values us. Very much so.

During this year I've also been diagnosed with SIBO (Small intestines bacterial infection) as well as congestive heart failure. I DO MISS having my friends, family being able to hug me, and me them!! I'm FAR from a lone!! SO MANY of us do.

Yet, I'm surrounded in a different way and hopefully we are all are, with those we get to reach out be it a text, phone call, cards, etc,,, and I have ZERO Doubt I'm so fortunate in how many I have in my life. It's full.

Just reading all that you have been through in your life so far makes me say how very brave you are and no wonder you would not be afraid to try the zip line. As for sky diving, well, I am a capricorn and I know I would always wonder what plan B I would have in place if the parachute decided not to open. At least with the zip line I would be buckled in and hopefully all the trees would have been taken out of the way. You are a positive influence to all us sparkers and may I say now - we truly appreciate all that you do! emoticon

I think hubby has that look because of some kind of social anxiety. He even has it (anxiety) when we have large family gatherings. His hearing has been bad his whole life and when there is a lot of chatter happening, he can't hear.

    Hi Diane,
Not this time. Getting rain maybe a mix today but may be a different story on Thursday. It has been very strange weatherwise this year. Tomorrow's supposed to be clear so will be heading to the grocery store. We're still waiting on getting our vaccines. My husband has his 1st one scheduled for Feb 28th because he turned 75 last year but I'm not there yet so have to wait.
