My name is Yolonda. I began a formal commitment to my weight loss efforts on August 18, 2010. I am fairly new to SparkPeople. I have an 18-month old daughter, so most my spark people access is from my cell using the food and activity tracker. Lately, I have come to the realization that I need to do better.

I sought medical supervision for my efforts and so far knowing that I will have the weigh-ins and measurements help to keep me on track. My last visit two weeks ago, revealed that I had lost any lbs. just inches. At the same time, I hadn't gained any weight either. I still view that as a diappointment. I am trying hard to maintain healthy eating habits.

My Goals:
My personal goal is primarily to achieve a healthy weight to:

1. Get rid of HBP

2. Be interactive with my daughter and watch her grow up

3. Reduce the risks of diabetes onset

My Program:
Honestly, not an entirely whole lot. I am pretty new to this. I've enlisted the service of the staff at the Central Mississippi Weight Loss Clinic, who motivates me with every visit.

My first mission was to change my eating habits. Since 9/8/10 I think they have greatly improved. I am proud to say that I have religiously stuck to the 1200 calorie restictions.

Other than little 15-20 minute walks at my own pace, the getting physical area is a challenge. I am kinda skeptical of going to the gym right now. I really don't know where to start.
