Losing with Faith, Hope, and Love
I reached my goal of 148 pounds weight just two weeks ago, June 10. Now I am maintaining my weight. I have moved out of the overweight category and am into the normal range. My sparkbuddies of 10 years have helped me to make this possible. Plus I count calories each day with Myfitnesspal. I never believed that this was possible. I also have a coach from Highmark that calls me every month to check on my progress and now will help me to maintain my loss. I actually had been "starving" myself on ...
I reached my goal of 148 pounds weight just two weeks ago, June 10. Now I am maintaining my weight. I have moved out of the overweight category and am into the normal range. My sparkbuddies of 10 years have helped me to make this possible. Plus I count calories each day with Myfitnesspal. I never believed that this was possible. I also have a coach from Highmark that calls me every month to check on my progress and now will help me to maintain my loss. I actually had been "starving" myself on 1200 calories per day for years. Once I increased my intake to 1500 calories per day, the weight just melted off. I did reach some plateaus where I was losing only 1/2 pound per week, But now I am working hard to maintain without depriving myself of the foods that I enjoy eating. I am revising my goals to maintain. I am living proof that weight loss can happen steadily if you count calories, exercise and stay in touch with Sparkbuddies.
Now I am updating my page because I have lost over 50 pounds and am revising my page. I only have 3.4 pounds to lose till I reach my new goal which is 148 in the normal range, Thanks to my Sparkbuddies of ten years, daily low calorie smoothies, Aldi's protein bars and daily stepping of 10,000 plus steps. My original goal was 160 and I MADE IT. Thanks Spark people. Now I am resetting my new goals as I have achieved the others. Hurrah!

My Program:
I am stepping 10,000 steps per day, and swimming regularly
I am eating 1400 to 1500 calories daily
I am logging my food on MyFitnesspal. I am talking with my wellness coach once a month for program tips. (she had identified early on that I was on a plateau and starving myself with only 1200 calories. She immediately had me up my calories to 1500 a day.
