Hello, My name is Donald Salls, I live in Savannah, Tennessee (by way of Massachusetts). I am currently retired from the Armed Forces and the State of Massachusetts. I am medically retired from injuries sustained in the line of duty.

I am multi-lingual and have extensive experience as a translator/interpreter for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, the Massachusetts Superior court system, and several hospitals (as a volunteer for hospitals). I was also the director of Staff Development, Training, & Program Services for several years with secure treatment facilities ( IRTP) for emotionally and mentally disturbed violent adolescent offenders.

I am a licensed Master Instructor in Non-violent Self Defense (NVSD) and assisted in it�s creation & development for use in crisis de-escalation within the Massachusetts DMH, DOC, and DMR facilities.

I am an expert on crisis Intervention, and de-escalation, licensed by the state of Massachusetts to teach and certify instructors

From 1973 - 2004 I taught CPR and Advanced first aid, later called Community first aid and was shortened to eight hours from 120 Hours. I was a licensed EMT for over 12 years, doing volunteer work on the town ambulance.

My hobbies are: Ham radio especially the public service portions. I am also with Skywarn. and I have consistently done communications (until 2005) for the Boston marathon, Clarence deMar marathon, the VASS 100 Mi mega marathon. I have worked search and rescue and many 6 & 10K runs. Imalso did 550Mi bicycle tours with the American Diabetes Assn. and several tour deCures.
In addition to Ham radio, I like fishing, boating, woodworking, and camping. My favorite place is in the woods and I am a trained North American Survival expert.

I like to cook. I am very straight-forward to the point of being blunt, saying what I mean and meaning what I say.
I have a good since of humor, and a lot of patience when it's called for.

Now I have decided to lose weight and get on a healthy track after years of allowing myself to deteriorate. I am doing this because I want to get it done.

For years I had people telling me to do it; the more they pushed the harder I dug in. Now they shut up so I decided to do it.

The fourth time must be a charm because I am married to a patient, supportive, lovely woman who is also a great cook and understands me very well. She is also an x-moonshine runner, and a crack shot with a .357. I'm lucky she doesn't get mad quick and has a great sense of humor. She has also worked as a contractor doing marble work.

I am closer to 70 than 60....Hmmm time flies. I need to lose 130 Lbs. I am the government version of the 6m man.........Government re-built using lowest bid materials. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran .
