I'm now 60 years old. Life is pretty wonderful for me. I'm active in my hiking club and church. Just got back from Washington DC, a birthday present from my family. I love exploring new places. I keep coming back to Spark People when I get serious about my goals because it works. SP has been a great blessing

It's been two years since I've used Spark Pages. I'm about to turn 59, retired, and living in Arkansas. Stress is no longer a factor. Health needs to become a serious priority--pain avoidance. I want to continue hiking and kayaking for a long time.

Hello, I'm looking to more success with my weight loss goals by using Spark Pages. I'm a 56 year old professional in a high-pressured job, and it's been tough sticking to a structured routine, but my goal is to make it a priority. I want to lose 60 lbs. and enjoy the process. ///2014 Update...Lost 20 pounds--40 pounds to go; really enjoying getting fit. I'm enjoying doing new things and not letting my career consume my life. I want to get closer to God in 2014.

*Lose 40 pounds
*Hike comfortably in a variety of places--see more of the country
*Visit a new National Monument this year
*Consistently attend Small Group
*Read at least one non-fiction book a month to expand my knowledge


My Program:
*Eat sensible diet; avoiding excessive snacking and processed food.
*Hike, walk with dogs, or some other form of more intense exercise at least 3 x week.
*10 minutes a day of stretching/ video



Personal Information:
56 year old woman with over 40 pounds to lose. Enjoys hiking, cross stitch, reading, and watching too much television.

Reached shrt-term goal of 20 pound weight loss; 40 to Go!!!
