tired of diets that don't work, tired of constantly being on a roller-coaster diet and tired of not having time for proper diet and exercise? I am retired now and some days I just don't have the motivation I need to go to the treadmill or to work out on the stationary bicycle. somedays I just watch the "turbo Jam" video and do those exercises. somedays, like today, I work out with the body ball and my hand weights. I'm looking forward to getting the exercise video for beginning zumba from my dear friend, and get back into that. I really did enjoy the zumba when I was able to get to Curves. all of the Curves have closed that were near me, so I no longer have that option. but I'm slowly getting back into it, since I have put on weight since my retirement. I have purchased the zumba tapes so I can do it at home, as well as the "CIZE" tapes from Shaun T. well worth the investment, even though the going is slow, due to my work schedule. But got to get back to the exercise. Keep it up, and NEVER give up on YOU.

My Goals:
I would like to lose about 30 -35 pounds, and maintain my lower blood pressure and cholesterol


My Program:
currently, drinking Shakeology and doing Beachbody workout. my current workout is Turbo Jam. as of November 29, 2015 Currently walking 3.8 miles 3 times per week when not at work. at work, constantly walking up and down stairs, doing zumba at home. completed my first 5K in May of this year in 51 minutes. goal was 45 but the last mile was a killer, because it was uphill. Just thankful to make it over the finish line. have lost 14 pounds since March.



Personal Information:
have lost around 15 pounds, thanks to the great walking group "Run for God." joined this group in 2015, and ran my first 5K in May, 2015. continuing to walk with one of my partners in the group, as well as walking continuously at work, up and down stairs several times a day. Have also purchased the "CIZE" videos by Shaun T, and have begun working with that. slow, but fun.

    I need to get back to my routine on the treadmill and stationary bike. Can't seem to get motivated when I am up so early every morning for work. I attempt to be in bed no later than 10.

    Latest doctors visit- everything checked out well. Weight is up more than I want, but with the heat, it's been rough trying to get my walks in. Still attempting to get in some jumping jacks and stretches though.
