i have been overweight since junior high school, so its become just the way i live. There is one point in my life where I lost a good amount of weight and my confidence soared. i was so outgoing and funny. My close friends and family still think I am funny but I am intimidated to actually be me in front of strangers or new people because I feel like they are already judging me and if I crack a joke it and its not that funny to them they will take it another way. I love my family and my boyfriend but I dont really like to meet his friends because I am afraid of what they will think of me. I know my boyfriend says nothing but the greatest things about me but I know that people can be very judgemental by what the see and percieve. So, I avoid it if possible. I run a crazy lifestyle of shift work, 2 other side jobs and my 4 year old son and boyfriend. My time off, which is very limited is valuable to me and i have to find a good balance of spending it with my family at home and making time to exercise for myself. I am strong and work out hard, that is not the issue, the issue is the concentration it takes and the planning involved in making good meals and sticking to them. I eat on the run a lot.

My Program:
Trying to conquer boredom eating, mindless eating and negative thinking. Some days are better than others right now.



Personal Information:
I am from WA state, love my son, my mom, my sister, my boyfriend, love warm weather, love football, love seahawks, love dancing, love music, love singing, love romatic comedies, love quality time with good friends and family, love traveling, love vacations short and long ones, love God, love campfires and fires in the fire place. Love smell of rain on pavement, love to chat with my son about all his imaginary ideas. Love life and want to live long.

    emoticon emoticon emoticon Well, with fall in the air and the emoticon summer coming to an end. I know for myself it’s time to get back to indoor activities and allowing all of you to become my mentors again. I am not good at being an indoor person in the summer as my Garden, Canning and other activities keep me very busy.

    So!! After September I plan to involve myself more on the Daily Chat message boards. There is no better support than what we all give each other to help us reach our goals.

    "Take time to explore the site. Become familiar with all the wonderful tools available to help you on your journey, such as the food tracker and the exercise tracker. Also, concentrate on mastering your three 'Fast Break' goals: drinking 8 cups of water per day, going for a walk, not eating in front of the TV...whatever three goals you have chosen. Try to make those goals daily habits over time." I do hope to see more of you and you see more of me as we travel down this Journey of getting healthy and feeling better.
