Just turned 32, and I'd LOVE people to say "Let's face it babe, you've never looked better!"
I am back to being a runner (ran my first 5K on Halloween!!), but all though my school years I played soccer, basketball, the whole nine yards...and then I went to art school - sports didn't exist there. I got myself an eating disorder and thus a slew of health complications as a result.
I'm single, tubby, and tired of it. Time to get back into shape, then back into the game...I'd like to look in the mirror and smile at what I see in front of me.

    Hey! Thanks! I'm bummed out cause I am on day #6 with this pain and have to wait 2 more days to get into the gyn!!!! The pain just keeps getting worse and well the hospital already gave me the run around..tempted to go back.

    It would be great to be neighbors! I need some more "in person" motivation lol. Hard to find these days!! I get nervous about doing strength training at gym. I have only been there about a month and a half now. I especially feel nervous when I am on the one where you do crunches..but I force myself to do it cause it's the only place I can do them with the added weight. I had been wanting to do the captains chair(think thats what its called) and finally gave in and did it the other night...def need to do it more, felt like I was falling lol. I need to find a race and get signed up.... for sometime this summer. I would love to be able to run the whole thing,but just finishing it period would feel great.

    One of my main goals is running. And while I'm not following c25k exactly I have week 1 podcast on my mp3 and I have done it a few times. I feel like my legs are the strongest part of me and always have been for the most part...but the pt broke it down to me that I must have a strong core also. I never really thought it through I guess, cause it does make sense. I knew jogging/running helped you core though and since I know my core def needs work that plays a big part in me wanting to run(plus I just feel like a diff person when I run and it feels great..can only imagine what it feels like to really run a distance)She also said I need to work on my balance. ...
    What do usually do at the gym? You run on the treadmill? Or do interval training?
