Enough is enough! I am tired of being fat and tired and hurting all the time! I want to be able to keep up with my very active grandchildren! I have gained back almost everything I worked so hard to lose! I am determined to get it done this time and keep it off!

My Goals:
My goals are to get fit in 2011.
I want to exercise more and find what really works for me so I will like it and stick to it!
I am going to continue to journal my food not only for the calories, but to keep on top of eating healthier!

My Program:
I count calories, and I use the food journal here. I know I have to journal what I eat or I don't do well!

Personal Information:
I am from upstate New York.
I am wife, mother and grandmother of 6.
I spend a lot of time with my grandchildren, they help keep me young!
I work as a bus monitor for special needs preschoolers. These children become like extra grandchildren to me!

Other Information:

I Bette Jo Payne will continue this journey for better health and weight loss.

1. I will work on changing the things I can change. I will not allow the things I cannot change to keep me from my destination.
2. When my husband is having a stressful day at work and comes home in a bad mood, I will not allow his mood to cause me to stray from journey.
3. I will continue to use my food journal every day and post it. Good or Bad!
4. I will start an exercise journal. I will exercise at least 5 days a week!
5. I will find more time for myself. I will learn to say “NO” to things I really don’t want to do, but feel are expected of me to do.
6. I will offer support, motivation and inspiration to my friends here on Spark People.
7. I will continue my quest to try to get my husband to become healthier, but I will not push it. If he decides he wants my help I will give it to him, but if he doesn’t want it, I will back off. I will focus on my own g

    Thanks for the well wishes on my caught in time blog.
    I am feeling so much better. Got went to the water aerobics class on Friday and did some machine workout.
    I will not be so foolish next time. Although i hope there is no next time.

    Thanks for adding me as a friend, I am going to do the same! I am finally getting back into tracking, thanks to the 7 day challenge on the OALB team..otherwise I probably would not have. Maybe seeing thing written down will help me see some of my poor choices and have a better week at the scale.

    Thank you for spending the time to read my blog - I think having just put that blog together - the first time I have actually put the developing story together like that and now the penny has dropped - and I am beginning to realise what I have done!! So - I'm just a bit slow in the uptake!! LOL!!
    However it has proved one thing to me – that if I can do it anyone can do it and you will find that the results are way beyond your wildest dreams!!
