I love to garden, and am out side on most days when I am not working, in it. I HATE winter!!! LOL

I also need to get my self back on track. some days I'm pretty good other days not so. I have some physical issues, but I am not in pain (thank God) so I am careful of what I can do, mostly low impact things are fine. So there are some things I will not do that cause undo stress on my body. It does not limit me for most part.

I am divorced, I have 4 grown sons. No grands yet. I look after my 84 year old mother. She is still very mobile and on her own. I work full time and part time, and am involved in various thing that keep me busy.

I am forever repairing or replacing things in my 85 year old house! I love to work with my power tools and do repairs around my house. All the doors and windows have been replaced, both baths have been replaced and are fairly new. replaced all flooring. Still needs siding, and walkway replaced.

So now I need to redo this body! So that it will serve me well, for many more years. I have been at it for awhile. I am determined, sometimes just not motivated! I need to do this, for me, because I AM worth it.

    Hi Chris,

I'm going to get blood tests done this coming week, then I'm going to see the MS specialist at the hospital in a week or so. They might be able to give me more information after I tell them about my recent symptoms. When I saw them earlier this year they weren't too concerned, but my MS is clearly not "latent" or "benign", and more likely relapsing/remitting. I think that's the best I can hope for out of all the options.

I've done a lot of reading recently and I've also joined a team for MS sufferers on here and am getting a lot of information that way. Another SparkFriend sent me links to a Chair Exercise DVD on YouTube which is specifically for MS sufferers, so I'm going to give that a go. I need to stay active, otherwise I will decline more rapidly than need be.

Blogging is a great way to get things off my chest and it helps me to put things into perspective, so I'm sure I'll keep everyone updated as things progress.

    Thanks for your support.

It is a small world. I had a very dear friend that lived in Hanover Park for years. My cousin lives in Lake in the Hills!

Have a happy FRiday - enjoy the warm and try not to get too wet in the rain!

Hi Chris, thanks for stopping by. I've been here, just not participating much on the message boards these days. I got a bit fed up with certain people who contributed to the closing down of my favourite thread (we're supposed to be sarcastic, not hate-filled), so I took a step back.

I hope you're knee is on the mend and not giving you so much pain. I have plantar fasciitis at the moment, which started about 3 weeks ago, so I'm having to dial my exercise down a notch. It's a bugger when your body fails you, isn't it?

Anyway, I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Take care.
