Anyone who has interacted with me over the last 1.5 years here on sparkpeople will probably have noticed a trend in my weight loss journey. Unfortunately, that trend is that I start gung-ho towards a goal, and then before I can achieve anything, I completely fall off of the wagon. When I initially started, I weighed 183 lbs, my highest weight up until that point. The ticker that I am about to change, from Jan., I believe, has my starting weight at 169. That is no longer the case. When I weighed myself this morning, 189.1 was what my scale told me. Two weeks ago, I hit 190 and decided to start exercising again. I have been doing a little bit of pilates and some walk at home videos, but I'm been coupling that with hot dogs, chips and fried food. So clearly, it has not been paying off. Most of my pants hurt me to put on, I have fat rolls on my back and I generally feel miserable all of the the time. When I woke up this morning, I decided to log my food and hopefully get myself back into the land of the healthy.

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to just get healthier. I struggle with my cholesterol and have a family history of diabetes and heart problems. Now is the time for me to get on track before it is too late.

My Program:
I am tracking my calories daily and am trying to get in at least 4 days of cardio and 2 days of strength training.

Personal Information:
I am a 31 year old retail manager who has been struggling with weight since I was a teen. I have a wonderful fiance wit some major medical issues that we are struggling to deal with. I need to make myself more healthy in order to help him control his diet.

Other Information:
My biggest downfall is sweets. I truly enjoy them and am trying to find healthier alternatives to satisfy my sweet tooth.
I am not a morning person, so I have to exercise when I get home from work. I just can't get myself moving early in the day. I have a hard time fitting it into my schedule some weeks.

    You can do this, you just got to do it. You have to have that mindset of "if I do it, I'll feel this way and look this way but IF I DONT DO it, I'll feel this way and look this way."

    Doing it is truly the best of two evils!

    Make sure not to limit yourself too much from the things you love otherwise you won't want to stick with it because shoot, I'm going to have my Ben N Jerry's when I get the urge - they're my favorite date. emoticon
