A healthier ME
I think we reach a point in our life that is beyond vanity. Feeling good, looking good and being a good person certainly enhances the quality of life. I feel good about how I earn a living, about how I live in my home and with my god; how I raised my son; how I secure my friendships. Now it is time to feel good in my body.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as ...

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." Ralph Waldo Emerson

My Goals:
My goal is for a healthier lifestyle (which would include sleep and less stress). I would like to enter by late 40s forty pounds lighter.
My Program:
I have been successful (before) but the loss - gain yo yo must stop. I enjoy walking and journaling (which seems to be most successful for me). I belong to CURVES to help with the bad weather days when outdoor exercise is limited. II enjoy healthy food ...really not a sweet addict but portion control has been my downfall.
Personal Information:
I live in the mountain state (WV). I love the changing seasons but at times the weather can inhibit my favorite exercise (walking and golf). I have been in the education field for over 26 years and am devoted to the field of special education. I took a more stressful job when my son left for college...really a great career move but took its toll on my reasonable work hours and self care. Trying to balance the "job" and my "life" now.
Other Information:
I enjoy walking, reading, and quiet time in my home. I enjoy my friends and my wonderful son (who is really a young MAN). Walking with friends and my dog, drinking wine outdoors, and beach trips are my idea of fun. I want to feel good about my body and my health enjoying this life.
