2019 Already!
Hi! I'm Sylvia.
I've had several false starts and some success at losing and some regain over the last few years. I've been fighting depression after several losses over the last few years and chronic pain due to fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.

I've had several false starts and some success at losing and some regain over the last few years. I've been fighting depression after several losses over the last few years and chronic pain due to fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.
But being the hard-headed girl I’ve always been, I am not about to give up. I may have been down, but I am far from out.
After a lot of years of taking care of everyone and everything else, I've finally committed to taking care of ME.
Taking care of myself includes cutting out sugar and processed foods. I am fueling my body with fresh, whole foods. It also means I will move much more. Both these things help with weight loss, less pain, less depression, and more energy.
I am looking forward to the coming months as I morph into the happier, healthier, and slimmer version of myself!

My Goals:
My goal is to live a healthy lifestyle which includes a healthy diet with no sugar or processed junk. It also includes daily exercise to keep my body moving. I want to be the healthiest me that I can be!
My Program:
For my nutrition, I am tracking everything I eat in the Spark tracker and cutting back on sugar, fats, and processed foods.
My exercise will include walking, dance, biking, strength training, and yoga.
Personal Information:
I live in the beautiful piney woods of the Big Thicket in Southeast Texas. I wouldn't trade the peace and quiet of my own backyard for anything!
Other Information:
I am trained as a fresh water biologist, but am not currently working. I keep my sanity by making glass art in my studio and learning to oil paint.
