Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog and for your question - did I ever think I wouldn't reach this stage? Your question was something I'd never really thought about until seeing those words in print. To be honest, now I've actually given it some thought, I really don't think I believed I could turn my life around from chocolate eating couch potato to someone who gets up at 5am for no other reason than to take my first coffee of the day out to the front veranda so I can enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the world wake up. I have three dogs, each of which I try to walk each morning, although there are days when the weather is too hot and humid lately, even though this is only meant to be Spring, for the dogs to want to go anywhere. I've just recently bought myself a lawn mower, because I've decided I'm capable of doing a far more careful job of mowing my big back yard and smaller front yard than any of the gardeners I've paid a small fortune to. The feeling of pride at having mown my own lawns was a real emotional boost, and I'm smiling just remembering that feeling. Wishing you well on your Spark journey. Chris. 1887 days ago

James Allen in his book, "As A Man Thinketh II," said, "When our thoughts become pure we have no more desire for impure food." I am working on controlling my thoughts. Not an easy job but with my eye on my Savior Jesus Christ, and help from my SP friends like you, I am improving.
Ezra Taft Benson also said, "'The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in."
God bless us to purify our thoughts with His help. Charlene
