Well, I am not planning on doing the Medifast plan for another month. The shakes do not taste like anything-I add diet sugar to get it down. The online community has recipes of things that you can buy to make it taste better. They add some type of syrup to the shake, or diet sprite to the teas, bouillon to the soup since it has NO taste at all, diet sugar to the oatmeal which by the way taste like flour and water made into a paste. The bars have a strange after taste. I haven't mustered up the nerve to make the eggs. Everything is powdered and freeze dried so the soup has to sit out in the water to hydrate the vegetables and chicken. The pudding is the best thing.
I have been researching to find something to take me to the finish line. My diet that has been working has kinda gotten old, so that is why I tried the Medifast because everyone seemed to like it. I am the exception -so you may like it.

I have decided to try The Food Lovers Fat Loss (Solution or System). It starts out with a detox for 6 days (I want to clean out my system) then a 21 day metabolism recharge. (I have metabolism issues) so this sounds really interesting. Then what I like is after the 27 days you will have learned how to incorporate ALL foods into your diet in such a way that you can live like a normal person. I want to be able to go to a party and know what I can have and not feel like I am cheating. I figure it is cheaper than Medifast and I will learn something. I know the ingredients for the detox and 21 days may be costly but the end will be a lifestyle change that makes me fit into my world. I can't wait until it arrives. I've been reading what the websites message boards and blogs have said. I'm going to see if spark people has a team for it. I'll let you know if it works for me. I guess I gave you more info than you asked for. Sorry

    Hey,
Just wanted to say thanks for the add.
I also wanted to tell you that I am in week 2 going on to week 3 of the medifast plan. Let me put it this way-I can't wait until my month is over. OMG!!!! yuck pooooo!!! I am just doing it 'cause I paid for it.
I lost some weight (water) but the food needs major doctoring. The on line community has lot's of ideas to make it possible to tolerate the food, but I feel that for the amount of money that I paid it should not taste that bad.
It is just "my" taste buds-Perhaps you will like it. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Good luck in what you decide. emoticon
