Now about me...
Welcome to Sparkpeople.com! If you looking for help getting healthy and fit, you've found it.
My previous journey went very well but unfortunately came to a halt. Thankfully I have the motivation to return to get back on track but with a different mind set. To sum up the halt, it boiled down to the fact that it's easier to "not" exercise and it's easier to "not" track what you eat and I allowed myself even after loosing over 40 lbs to get go back. I was doing so well, but I gave in to the easier.
The bad: I gained most of the pounds back, putting me back into the overweight category.
The good: I'm a work in progress and though the progress is slow, I'm not giving up.

My Goals:
Appreciate myself.
Take care to make healthy choices everyday.
Get in the water via well water and fruits/veggies
Kick the gum chewing habit for good.
My Program:
Using my weekly motivation worksheet to earn points toward a prize and the end of the week. Motivation worksheet covers Spiritual, Physical; Well Being and other areas of growth. I started it around June of 2010 and have been perfecting it since.
Personal Information:
2009 was the year I got my motivation to lose excess weight and be more healthier. I was introduced to SparkPeople.com back in 2007 and had hoped to get going but it took another 2 years and 2 months before I was really motivated to lose the weight.
In 2010 my theme was to Kick it up a notch! I completed training for the Flying Pig Marathon. Ran/Walked the Flying Pig Marathon; Ran in the Columbus Nationwide Health 1/2 Marathon.
My faith is Apostolic. I enjoy God's Word and His personal love. He answers my prayers even ones that may seem small.
Praise Jesus!

2011 seems to be a year of liberation and independence. It feels good to let go of things that bind and be free.
Thus my screen name Hallelul. I'm thankful for freedom.
